Vermont Beekeepers Association  Workshop Schedule

  • Workshops are held on Saturdays from Noon -2 pm weather permitting. Rain days are on the following day. Workshops go into the bees and open colonies, so you are encouraged to bring a veil, and bee suit if necessary.
  • Workshops are free and open to the public. We continue to offer workshops at two locations to better serve the membership. Two locations means less driving time for members and more opportunities for participation.

 

The northern yard  Northern Yard (Burlington): At the Intervale in Burlington, just past Gardener's Supply (between the brick house and retail outlet). Please park on the west side of Intervale Road, cross the street on foot, and walk back behind the two barns

Directions to the southern yard:

 

From the south get off I-91N at exit 14 in Thetford. Take a left on Rt 113 and go 11 miles to the Husqvarna shop. The Bee yard is in the field. Look for signs on where to park.

 

From the north go south on 91 to exit 14 at Thetford . Take a right on Rt 113 and go 11 miles to the Husqvarna shop.

 

From the west at Chelsea take Rt 113 and go 11 miles to the Husqvarna shop on the right.
